Building improvements continue to take place here at the Centre thanks to the successful fundraising efforts of you our families and the help of other funders.  We would like to especially thank the Community Places program for the $12,000 that they contributed to our last project.  This grant along with our successful Pasta Fundraiser in February, enabled us to recently complete a window replacement project for room #8 (Flex room).  The total project cost was $25,000.

Next on our list is the window project for room #6 (also a Flex room). The exciting part of this project is that it includes a patio door (similar to the one in Preschool 1 and School-age 1) in this classroom which will allow us to have direct access to the outdoors.  We have experienced a significant increase in outdoor time due the patio doors in P1 and S1 and are very excited to bring this benefit to the Flex room as well. Hopefully a deck will follow shortly after the new Windows/Patio door unit goes in.  We have already been successful in obtaining a grant from The Winnipeg Foundation ($20,000) towards this project and are hoping to complete it before the end of 2018.
