We (Board and Management) would like to inform all parents about a recent decision to increase the snack fees at Discovery by 25 cents per day as of January 14, 2019. For most parents that means you will be billed $25/child per billing period snack fee as opposed to the $20 you are presently paying.
This increase is a result of experiencing almost 3 years of operation with no increase to our operating grant or parent fees (both controlled by the Province of Manitoba).
We will continue to do our very best to maintain the high standard of care and education that you have come to expect from Discovery. With your support in offsetting the cost of our snack program we do believe we can achieve that goal.
