Discovery’s Management and Board members have been paying close attention to what is happening regarding our weather. Some of you may have already heard that the school buses in the St. James Assiniboine School Division, WILL NOT be running for the next two days (Wednesday and Thursday) due to the anticipated blizzard. Parent’s of school age children are responsible to find transportation for their child if the school remains open.
Discovery’s existing policies (Enhanced Safety Plan) direct that our Centre will close for severe winter weather. If schools in our Division close, Discovery will close ALL programs. The announcement for closure will take place before 6:00am on Wednesday, April 13th. Centre closure days will not affect fees charged.
