Effective May 12 to May 30th all licensed facilities will be able to apply for additional funding support to offset the loss of parent fees for kindergarten and school-age children for those families whose children are not allowed to attend their before and after school programs as a result of the move to remote learning during this period. This in turn, will result in a credit for those families’ parent fees. All families of parents who were eligible for in school learning will pay regular fees. If during this time those families’ children are absent due to COVID (self isolating, testing, etc.) Discovery will continue to apply for the Pandemic Staffing Grant benefit to credit their fees once grant money has been received.
