Discovery’s Next Steps

We are all looking forward to having parents and visitors back into our building next week (beginning, Monday, March 28th)  Before entering the building, be sure to complete the screening questions (staff will no longer be screening you) www.manitoba.ca/covid19/index.html . If your child has symptoms, you will be called and expected to pick up no more that 30 minutes after you receive the call.

If you haven’t already picked up a key fob for access, they will be available in our office. To enter the building without a key fob, you will ring the door bell and the receptionist will ask you for a password. The password will be posted on the parent sign in sheet in your child’s room. If you do not have a key fob and you do not know the password, someone will come to the door to let you in.  If you are going to the office to pick up a key fob, there is now a window for service.

Parents, please use the sanitizer that is available at each entrance (for adults only) and please remember to use the two step drop off and 2 step pick up procedure everyday. Although masks are no longer required, they are still strongly recommended due to the vulnerable population of children under 5 years in our building.

Finally, parking at certain times of the day is challenging (both in the front and back of our building). Please be respectful and patient, you may have to wait until someone leaves to find a parking spot or park further away and walk. Please DO NOT use staff parking spaces and DO NOT park in the fire lane in the back lane.

If you have questions or concerns, please email management at dcc@discoverycc.com.
