Discovery Continues To Take Precautions To Prevent The Spread of COVID-19

Discovery Children’s Centre is moving ahead cautiously and continuing to take precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The use of masks continues to be recommended by public health for all indoor spaces and is strongly recommended for those who are not fully vaccinated, including children under 12 years of age.

Discovery’s Board supports management recommendations that all SA children (including Kindergarten) continue wearing masks indoors. The pick up and drop off procedures will not change at this time and we will continue to limit visitors in the building.

Discovery will begin moving slowly to reduce some of the restrictions in the building. As a way to get back to serving our School age community, this school year Discovery will be accepting children from a couple of the other community schools (George Waters and Romeo Delaire). The School age program will continue to operate in two cohorts that will now include two separate schools in each of those cohorts.

Parents will be notified once changes to procedures or policies are made.  If you have questions or require additional information please contact the centre at  dcc@discoverycc.com.

Stay healthy and take care.
