Next Monday, August 22, 2016 will be Ms. Keith Arigo’s last day at Discovery. I remember when we first hired Ms. Arigo in June 2013. When she arrived for her interview I thought that there was a mistake because I was expecting to be meeting with a male staff (it is not often that a female is named Keith). We were not at all disappointed, and we were extremely blessed with our choice to hire her. Miss Arigo has spent most of her time at Discovery in our Infant Toddler room. Her patience and gentle and caring approach has made it easy for the babies to absolutely love her. Ms. Arigo’s passion and dedication to her work has made her an exemplary employee.
Ms. Arigo writes;
I have recently received my permanent Professional Teaching Certificate to teach kindergarten to grade twelve (12). This fall I will be teaching in Wasagamack, MB; a First Nation reserve located about 600 km north of Winnipeg.
Discovery is my home away from home and it’s not easy saying goodbye. I am deeply grateful to all the wonderful staff and families I have met and worked with here. I am excited to incorporate Discovery’s philosophy on nature and outdoor play in my classroom! Thank you, Discovery!
To say “Good Bye” and “Thank you” we have purchased a “Tree of Caring” for Ms. Arigo. We will Miss you Ms. Arigo! Good Luck in Wasagamack, MB.!
