Nursery School (Pre-Kindergarten –  Part-time) (3 – 4 year olds)

Back in 1989 Discovery began to reach beyond the “Day Care” part of our community and started what is often referred to as a “Nursery School” program.  This is a Pre-Kindergarten program meant to reach out to the children who have a stay-at-home parent who is providing the daily care for the child.  The program grew to include a variety of attendance and language options.  In the fall of 2015 we have also committed to start a very outdoor oriented option which is further described in the “Field and Forest Nature School” area of this site.  Thanks to the “Enhanced Nursery School” funding from our province this program is very economical and in fact can be fully subsidized under certain circumstances.
